Queste foto non mostrano una donna dopo 17 interventi di chirurgia estetica

Il 21 giugno 2020 su Facebook è stata pubblicata un’immagine che mostra tre foto di una donna con un viso rifatto. L’immagine è accompagnata da un commento in cui si sostiene che sarebbe il risultato di «17 interventi chirurgici».

Questa notizia è fuorviante e veicola un contenuto falso. L’immagine è reale ma le foto non mostrano una donna dopo 17 interventi di chirurgia estetica.

Come ha spiegato il sito di fact-checking Snopes le foto in realtà mostrano un progetto artistico realizzato nel 2019 dai Pinewood Studios che, attraverso diverse tecniche di trucco, puntava a «scioccare e informare» le persone sui pericoli della chirurgia plastica.
